This training will provide an overview of trauma, dissociation, and attachment, discuss how trauma can present in the therapy room, detail how to manage activation in the therapist's inner system, and explore important ethical considerations in trauma treatment.

Trainer Bios: 

Brooke Eaton Lewis is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Co-Founder of Pittsburgh Center for Integrative Therapy. Brooke is an EMDRIA approved EMDR trainer and consultant who specializes in complex trauma, attachment, and dissociation across the life span. Currently Brooke blends her training in Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, Internal Family Systems, and EMDR to provide Integrative EMDR Intensive Therapy to clients in the United States.

Lauren H. Steele is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Co-Founder of Pittsburgh Center for Integrative Therapy. Lauren is an EMDRIA-certified EMDR Therapist and Somatics Practitioner who specializes in treating adults with complex and developmental trauma, and dissociative symptoms. Currently Lauren incorporates her training in Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, Internal Family Systems, and EMDR to provide Integrative EMDR Intensive Therapy to clients in the United States.
